Troy Brosnan's Go-Fast Signature Tyre

Troy Brosnan envisioned a "unicorn" of a tyre – one with a center tread design that carries speed effortlessly while featuring edge blocks capable of delivering world-class cornering speed. Drawing inspiration from the Rekon, Minion DHF, and High Roller II tread patterns, Troy collaborated with the Maxxis engineering team to develop the Dissector during the 2018 World Cup season.

Key Features of the Dissector:

• Center Knobs:

  • Heavily ramped to minimize drag.
  • Retain sharp, flat edges on their backs for strong braking traction.
  • Small sipes provide additional flexion, enhancing surface area during braking and aiding transitions to edge blocks when cornering.

• Edge Blocks:

  • C-shaped blocks alternate between closer and farther positions from the center line, reducing vagueness during transitions from center to cornering tread.

• Debris Clearing:

  • Distinct channels along both sides of the center knobs.
  • Ample spacing between all lugs helps clear debris efficiently.
